How It Works

We operate inside a partner gaming venue. You get in using the venue's existing access — day pass or monthly membership — at their normal rates. No separate club fee. Plus full access to the venue's gaming machines and setups.

Once you have venue access, sign up for the first game. Pick a team you're interested in, and you're on the team. Commit to the full 8 weeks or drop in to individual nights — both work.

Questions

Do I need experience?

No. We need coders, artists, sound designers, writers, project managers — and people with none of those skills who just want to learn. Team captains get everyone set up so anyone can contribute.

Do I have to come every week?

Not required. Come when you can, contribute on Discord in between. Every contribution counts — even one sound effect or one bug report.

How much does it cost?

The club itself is free. You just need access to the venue — day pass or monthly membership at their normal rates.

Who owns the game?

Everything is released under CC BY-NC 4.0 — free to play, share, and remix. Not for commercial use. The skills you learn are entirely yours.

What's pixel art got to do with it?

Pixel art is our house style — accessible, learnable in an evening, and manageable in 8 weeks for a group making a game in 8 weeks.
