The Ask

Chicago Game Makers Club is a community program where people make games together for fun. We're looking for a Chicago venue to host our first game — 8 weeks, one night a week.

All we need is space — a section of your venue one night per week on a slower night. We bring our own board, run the program, handle Discord and publishing. Your staff doesn't do anything new.

Members pay your normal day pass or monthly membership rates. No separate club fee, we don't take a cut, no special pricing.

What You Get

A Steady Crowd

15–30 people, once a week, for 8 weeks. They're committed — they're on a team with tasks and people counting on them. This isn't a one-off event. It's people showing up regularly on a night you'd otherwise be quiet.

Casuals Become Regulars

Someone shows up on a day pass to try it. They meet people, have a good time. Next week they're back. By week three they've bought a monthly membership — for your venue, not just the club.

Plus: Social media content from the program, your venue credited on the published game, two social events (kickoff + launch party) that bring extra energy and new faces. No extra work for your staff.

No Big Commitment

We're not asking for anything long-term. We're asking for one game — 8 weeks. You see the results (attendance, revenue, vibe) and we both decide if it makes sense to continue.

We're targeting a night you're already staffed for. Members pay your normal rates. The worst case is 8 weeks of a few more people showing up than usual.

If it works, we talk about continuing. If not, no hard feelings. Your venue gets credited on the published game either way.

Let's Talk

If you run a venue in Chicago and this sounds interesting, we'd love a conversation. No pitch deck — just two people talking about whether this could work.
